transformational workspace brand documentary
An expansive video project documenting the transformative process behind the design and build of our client's new Perth office.
Building Perth's largest single-floor office spaces was a ground-breaking project. We were brought in to showcase the incredible dedication, imagination and innovation that was poured into this transformational and innovative project. With so many stories to tell, a longer form Brand Documentary was created to allow the necessary space and time for their telling.
a brand documentary showcasing the boundary-breaking design & build of new Perth office.

uncovering the stories
the interviews
With 7 Guiding Principals as the true north of the project there were numerous stories that needed to be told.
We knew that one interview session wouldn't allow the necessary space to tell these stories, so we scheduled a number of formal and informal opportunities, as well as capturing meetings and improptu conversations.
→ 9 people interviewed over 4 months
→ Total of 22 individual interviews at 17 different locations
→ 3 x group chats and presentations filmed

crafting the narrative
the editing process
Telling a complex story is always a complex process.
With a project this detailed, the editing began long before contstruction was complete. It was a collaborative process with numerous viewings, selections and options provided, including a long (38 minute) cut and a live editing session for final touches.

a collaborative result
the mini brand documentary
The result was an 8 minute and 11 second Brand Documentary, telling multiple, intertwined stories made possible by a commitment of time, budget and access from the Project Team as well as the support of a number of consultants and suppliers.
Most notably Project Lead Paul Lulic and Transformation Lead Angie Moore, along with the Design PM Stirling Fletcher (BEDROCKmg) and the Sustainability Lead Eugene Hooks (platFORMed).
A genuine thankyou to all of you for your relentless passion and effort. Thankyou also to Aaron Thorp from DAWN Projects for ongoing site access and insights, and Gavin Campbell for contributing to behind-the-scenes construction footage.
A true collaboration, and a flagship project for Two & Four.
